PLEASE NOTE:- ACCOUNT RULES
THIS SITE IS NOT TO BE USED TO ADVERTISE BUSINESS, COMMERCIAL GOODS OR OTHER SERVICES WITHOUT THE EXPRESS PERMISSION OF THE SYDNEY SHADOWS CLUB INC!  Persons found doing so will be banned and have their account removed.

The club was first formed in April 2003 and caters to those who have an interest in playing, or just listening to, guitar instrumental music.

While those with a mutual appreciation of THE SHADOWS founded the club, we warmly welcome those with an interest in any type of guitar instrumental music, including The Ventures, Chet Atkins, Duane Eddy, etc.

Our current membership boasts non-professional through to currently gigging musicians, from all age groups. We particularly invite rhythm players, drummers, bass players and keyboard players, along with those who were part of the instrumental boom of the 60's who may have long downed tools but would like to re-kindle the flame.

Club meeting dates and venues are published in the Forum.

For those who wish to play, there are plenty of like-minded musicians to perform with.

The atmosphere is always friendly and relaxed and is an ideal forum for those with a passion for the era of the classic guitar instrumental.

CLUB OBJECTIVES

  • To promote the music of The Shadows and other guitar instrumental groups.
  • To provide a means of encouraging novice and experienced musicians to expand their skills and enjoyment of playing music.
  • To provide a forum for collaborative matters, technical information with wider appeal, or comments on music, concerts, or events.
  • To enjoy socially, the fellowship of others sharing an interest in our music.
